KATHINA CEREMONY

The Kathina Celebration or the Robe-Offering Ceremony was initiated by the Buddha Himself in order to promote the comfort of the monks who had observed the traditional rainy season retreat (Buddhist Lent). To continue this ancient and important tradition, we are collectively arranging a Kathina Robe to be offered to the monks who have observed the entire three-month period of retreat in Wat Ratanak Pratib.    Click here  Kathina_2008.pdf
